Claude Switcher

Switch Claude Desktop between saved accounts without signing in again, and keep every Claude Code chat with you on Windows, macOS and Linux.

The problem

Claude Desktop is signed into one account at a time. Switching means logging out and back in, and each account keeps its own Code sidebar, so chats from a minute ago seem to vanish.

What the product does

Saves each Claude Desktop login once and switches between accounts with no password or email code. Chats from every account appear in one searchable list, where they can be copied, moved or exported as a web page or Markdown. Chats whose history is still on disk but that no sidebar lists can be recovered, and every chat change can be undone.

Behind the technology

One Go binary with a full-screen terminal app and a command line in which every action is also a command, with JSON output and stable exit codes. Switching waits until Claude Desktop is closed, copies its login files between its data folder and the tool’s own folder, and reopens it. Before saving over a login it checks that Desktop is still signed into the same account, and every chat change is journaled with backups so that undo restores the exact bytes.
