Gaming DNS service · preview
nxping
A DNS service for gamers that aims to make connecting to supported services simpler, with a free trial before purchase and a domain compatibility check.
The problem
Before paying, a gamer cannot tell whether a connection service works on their own internet, for the game they play. A promise that cannot be measured does not help.
What the product does
On the nxping site you enter the domain of a game or a service and see whether it is on the supported list; the full list stays on the server and only that domain’s result comes back. There is a free trial before purchase. Every plan is for a single user and differs only in length and support level, and purchase and support happen in Telegram. Setup guides for Windows, Android, iOS, consoles and routers are being prepared.
Behind the technology
A DNS service only answers domain-name lookups and has no access to the content of game traffic. DNS alone does not guarantee a lower ping; the result depends on the operator, the network route and the game server.
